Depending on your game goals in Unicorn Overlord, you must decide whether to execute or free Mandrin. If you rescue Manderlin, he will thank you for your kindness in allowing him to be recruited. Mandelin and Gamel could be recruited together in Elfheim if both were allowed to be free.
But carrying Mandrin will bring immediate benefits, such as Holy Shards, which help collect Ochlys and advance through the game. So if you value both abundant resources and immediate advantages, putting Mandrin into action might be a better choice. However, if you value expanding your roster and possible land, Mundelin’s retention could provide greater long-term benefits. The choice should ultimately suit your goals and play style.
