Stardew Valley Community Center Complete Guide

Restoring the Stardew Valley Community Center to its former glory is a mammoth task. Each room is completely dilapidated, and you must collect a variety of items and goods from around Pelican Town to donate to the Junimos before they fix them up. The Community Center has seven rooms, each with up to six bundles inside. Here is everything you need to complete them!

How to Unlock the Community Center in Stardew Valley

The Community Center can be unlocked after the fifth day of Spring. From then onwards, whenever you go to town between 8 AM – 1 PM, Lewis will pull you aside and show you the abandoned center. After noticing the strange Junimo creatures scuttling about the building, Lewis chalks them up to rats, and the cutscene ends.

After speaking to Lewis, the building remains open for you to explore whenever you wish. When you do, try to read the strange plaque in the bottom right room. The next day, you will get a message from the Wizard inviting you to his Tower, where he will give you a strange potion that blesses you with the ability to decipher the Junimo text and begin your Community Center mission.

What Do You Get for Completing the Community Center in Stardew Valley?

The Community Center is a huge job, but it pays off by unlocking a whole new island in Stardew Valley. Completing the Community Center begins a quest involving Willy, where you strive to rebuild his old boat. Once you’ve fixed Willy’s boat with 5x Battery Packs, 200x Hardwood, and 5x Iridium Bars, you can purchase a ticket to Ginger Island for 1000g.

Ginger Island has hundreds of hours worth of content waiting for you, including several new NPCs, quests, secrets, and hidden items to discover.

Craft Room Bundles

The Crafts Room is the first room you will have access to in the Community Center. It is one of the easiest rooms to complete but also one of the most time-consuming, as it requires an entire year to pass before you can access each item.

Thankfully, the items required are all foragables that litter Pelican Town in their respective seasons, so you won’t have to look very hard to find them all.

Completing the Crafts Room bundles unlocks the Quarry to the west of the Mine.

Spring Foraging Bundle

The Spring Foraging bundle calls for the following items:

• Wild Horseradish – Foraged.
• Daffodil – Foraged.
• Leek – Foraged.
• Dandelion – Foraged.

You will get 30x Spring Seeds for completing the Spring Foraging bundle.

Summer Foraging Bundle

The Summer Foraging bundle calls for the following items:

• Grape – Foraged in Spring or Summer.
• Spice Berry – Foraged, the Bat Cave .
• Sweet Pea – Foraged.

Fall Foraging Bundle

The Fall Foraging bundle calls for the following items:

• Common Mushroom – The Mushroom Cave, the Secret Woods in Spring or Fall, tapped Mushroom Trees.
• Wild Plum – The Bat Cave, Foraged.
• Hazelnut – Foraged.
• Blackberry – The Bat Cave, Foraged.

You will get 30x Fall Seeds for completing the Fall Foraging bundle.

Winter Foraging Bundle

The Winter Foraging bundle calls for the following items:

• Winter Root – Foraged from Artifact Spots, Blue Slime monster loot.
• Snow Yam – Foraged from Artifact Spots.
• Crocus – Foraged.
• Crystal Fruit – Foraged, Dist Sprite monster loot.

You will get 30x Winter Seeds for completing the Winter Foraging bundle. These are the only seeds you can grow in Winter apart from Powdermelon!

Construction Bundle

The Construction Bundle requires you to collect resources from Pelican Town. Here is what you need:

• 99x Wood – Collected by cutting down trees or branches with an axe.
• 99x Wood – Collected by cutting down trees or branches with an axe.
• 99x Stone – Collected by smashing rocks with pickaxe.
• 10x Hardwood – This can be found in the Secret Woods and on some farm layouts. Collected by cutting Hardwood stumps with a Bronze Axe or higher.

You will get 1x Charcoal Kiln for completing the Construction Bundle.

Exotic Foraging Bundle

The Exotic Foraging bundle works a little differently than the bundles above. Rather than supplying each and every one of the items the bundle calls for, you have a selection of nine items that you can choose from. You only need five of them to complete the bundle.

• Coconut – Desert
• Cactus Fruit – Desert
• Cave Carrot – Mines
• Red Mushroom – Mines, the Secret Woods, the Mushroom Cave, Mushroom Trees, or the Forest Farm.
• Purple Mushroom – Mines, the Mushroom Cave, or the Forest Farm.
• Morel – The Mushroom Cave, Secret Woods, or the Forest Farm.
• Maple Syrup – Tap a Maple Tree.
• Oak Resin – Tap an Oak Tree.
• Pine Tar – Tap a Pine Tree.

You will get 5x Autumn’s Bounty for completing the Exotic Foraging bundle.

Pantry Room Bundles

The Pantry Room contains bundles that you will have to grow and harvest crops to complete, making it another year-round quest. The reward for completing the Pantry Room bundles is one of the best the Community Center offers, so make sure you focus on completing these bundles as soon as you can!

Completing the Pantry Room bundles unlocks the Greenhouse, so you can grow out-of-season crops all year round.

Spring Crops Bundle

The Spring Crops bundle requires you to grow the following Spring crops:

• Parsnip
• Green Bean
• Cauliflower
• Potato

You will get 20x Speed-Gro fertilizers for completing the Spring Crops bundle.

Summer Crops Bundle

The Summer Crops bundle requires you to grow the following Summer crops:

• Tomato
• Hot Pepper
• Blueberry
• Melon

You will get 1x Quality Sprinkler for completing the Summer Crops bundle.

Fall Crops Bundle

The Fall Crops bundle requires you to grow the following Fall crops:

• Corn
• Eggplant
• Pumpkin
• Yam

You will get 1x Bee House for completing the Fall Crops bundle.

Quality Crops Bundle

The Quality Crops bundle calls for gold quality versions of the following crops. You can increase the quality of your crops by sprinkling your soil with fertilizer before planting your seeds!

• 5x Gold Parsnips – Spring Crop
• 5x Gold Melons – Summer Crop
• 5x Gold Pumpkins – Fall Crop
• 5x Gold Corn – Summer and Fall Crop

You will get 1x Preserves Jar for completing the Quality Crops bundle.

Animal Bundle

The Animal Bundle calls for animal products. You have to build a Barn and a Coop to complete this bundle. Some of the items you need are Large. You can harvest Large resources from animals you have bonded with. You only have to choose five of the following six items to complete the bundle.

• Large Milk – Cow
• Large Brown Egg – Chicken
• Large White Egg – Chicken
• Large Goat Milk – Goat
• Wool – Sheep or Rabbits
• Duck Egg – Duck

You will get 1x Cheese Press for completing the Animal Bundle.

Artisan Bundle

The Artisan Bundle is like the Exoting Foraging bundle in the sense that you can choose what items you will submit to complete it. You can choose six of the following twelve items:

• Apricot – Harvested from Apricot Trees in Spring or the Bat Cave.
• Cherry – Harvested from Cherry Trees in Spring or the Bat Cave.
• Orange – Harvested from Orange Trees in Summer or the Bat Cave.
• Peach – Harvested from Peach Trees in Summer or the Bat Cave.
• Apple – Harvested from Apple Trees in the Fall or the Bat Cave.
• Pomegranate – Harvested from Pomegranate Trees in the Fall or the Bat Cave.
• Honey – Bee Houses.
• Cheese – Cows Milk in the Cheese Press.
• Goat Cheese – Goat Milk in the Cheese Press.
• Cloth – Loom, Mummy monster loot, recycling Soggy Newspapers.
• Truffle Oil – Truffles found by Pigs. Processed in the Oil Maker.

You will get 1x Keg for completing the Artisan Bundle.

Boiler Room Bundles

The Boiler Room is on the right side of the Community Center and requires you to hunt for items in the Mines. The Mines are one of the most dangerous places in the Valley, but you only have to complete three bundles to tick this room off your Community Center list.

Completing the Boiler Room bundles unlocks the Minecarts. You can use these to fast travel between the Mines, the Bus Stop, and the Quarry.

Adventurer’s Bundle

The Adventurer’s Bundle is comprised of monster loot. You only need two of the four items to complete the bundle.

• 99x Slimes – Slime monster loot.
• 10x Bat Wings – Bat monster loot.
• Solar Essence – Mines: Ghost, Metal Heads, or Squid Kid monster loot. Skull Cavern: Mummies and Iridium Bat monster loot. Can also be harvested from Sunfish in Fish Ponds.
• Void Essence – Mines: Shadow Brute and Shadow Shaman monster loot. Skull Cavern: Serpent monster loot. Can also be harvested from Void Salmon in Fish Ponds.

You will get a Small Magnet Ring for completing the Adventurer’s Bundle.

Geologists Bundle

The Geologists Bundle contains gems and minerals found in the Mines, Skull Cavern, or the Quarry.

• Quartz – The Mines.
• Earth Crystal – Foraged in the Mines from level 1 – 39, Geodes, Omni Geodes, Duggy monster loot.
• Fire Quartz – Foraged in the Mines from level 81 – 119, Magma Geodes, Omni Geodes.
• Frozen Tear – Foraged in the Mines from level 41 – 79, Frozen Geodes, Omni Geodes, Dust Sprite monster loot.

You will get 5x Omni Geodes for completing the Geologists Bundle.

Blacksmith’s Bundle

The Blacksmith’s Bundle calls for you to collect resources like Copper, Iron, and Gold in the Mines and smelt them into bars using a Furnace.

• Copper Bar – Smelt Copper in a Furnace.
• Iron Bar – Smelt Iron in a Furnace, Transmute (Fe) crafting recipe.
• Gold Bar – Smelt Gold in a Furnace, Transmute (Au) crafting recipe.

You will get 1x Furnace for completing the Blacksmith’s Bundle.

Bulletin Board Bundles

The Bulletin Board is one of the more time-consuming rooms to complete and requires you to collect all sorts of rare and valuable foragables, grown, or crafted items.

Completing the Bulletin Board bundles earns you two hearts with every non-dateable villager in Pelican Town.

Fodder Bundle

The Fodder bundle is the easiest one to tick off the list and only requires finding three items.

• 10x Wheat – Summer and Fall crop.
• Apple – Harvested from Apple Trees in the Fall, or the Bat Cave.
• 10x Hay – Harvested from Grass or Wheat by cutting with the Scythe or purchased from Marnie’s Ranch.

You will get 1x Heater for your Coop or Barn for completing the Fodder bundle.

Enchanter’s Bundle

The Enchanter’s bundle calls for the following items:

• Oak Resin – Tap and Oak Tree.
• Rabbit’s Foot – Harvested from Rabbits, Serpent monster loot.
• Pomegranate – Harvested from Pomegranate Trees in the Fall or the Bat Cave.
• Wine – Keg.

You will get 5x Gold Bars for completing the Enchanter’s bundle.

Field Research Bundle

The Field Research bundle calls for the following items:

• Purple Mushroom – The Mines, the Mushroom Cave, the Forest Farm.
• Chub – Caught in the Mountain Lake and River in any season, at any time.
• Nautilus Shell – Foraged on the Beach or the Beach Farm.
• Frozen Geode – Foraged in the Mines on levels 41 – 79.

You will get 1x Recycling Machine for completing the Field Research bundle.

Dye Bundle

The Dye bundle is one of the largest bundles on the Bulletin Board. It calls for the following items:

• Red Cabbage – Summer crop (year 2), Serpent, Purple Slime, and Mummy monster loot.
• Sunflower – Summer and Fall crop.
• Aquamarine – The Mines, Fishing Treasure Chests.
• Duck Feather – Ducks.
• Sea Urchin – Foraged at the Beach after unlocking the bridge, or the Beach Farm.
• Red Mushroom – Foraged in the Mines, the Mushroom Cave, or by Tapping a Mushroom Tree.

You will get 1x Seed Maker for completing the Dye Bundle.

Chef’s Bundle

The Chef’s Bundle requires you to forage, grow, and cook recipes in the Kitchen in your Farm House. Here’s what you need:

• Maple Syrup – Tap a Maple Tree.
• Fiddlehead Fern – The Secret Woods, prehistoric floors in Skull Cavern, cutting down Green Rain Trees.
• Truffle – Pigs.
• Poppy – Summer crop.
• Maki Roll – Cooked using any fish, Rice, and Seaweed.
• Fried Egg – Cooked using an Egg.

You will get 3x Pink Cakes for completing the Chef’s Bundle.

The Vault Bundles

The Vault is one of the easiest but most expensive rooms to complete in the Community Center. You don’t need to find or collect anything except cold, hard cash.

Completing the Vault bundles repairs the Bus Stop so you can visit the Desert.

2,500 Bundle

This bundle calls for a donation of 2,500g.

You will get 3x Chocolate Cakes for completing the 2,500 bundle.

5,000 Bundle

This bundle calls for a 5,000g donation.

You will get 30x Quality Fertilizers for completing the 5,000g bundle.

10,000 Bundle

The 10,000g bundle calls for a 10,000g donation.

You will get 1x Lightning Rod for completing the 10,000 bundle.

25,000g

The 25,000 bundle calls for a 25,000g donation.

You will get 1x Crystalarium for completing the 25,00g bundle.

Fish Tank Bundles

The Fish Tank Bundles are some of the most time-consuming to complete. Not only does it require at least one full year cycle to encounter each fish variety, but you also have to repair the Bus Stop to access the Desert.

Completing the Fish Tank Bundles will remove the Glittering Boulder on the left side of the Mines and unlock the Copper Pan.

Lake Fish Bundle

These fish can all be caught at the Mountain Lake outside the Mines.

• Sturgeon – Caught in the Mountain Lake in Spring and Summer from 6 am – 7 pm. Any weather.
• Carp – Caught in the Mountain Lake in Spring, Summer, or the Fall. Any weather, any time.
• Largemouth Bass – Caught in the Mountain Lake in any weather and any season from 6 am – 7 pm.
• Bullhead – Caught in the Mountain Lake in any season, at any time, in any weather.

You will get 1x Dressed Spinner for completing the Lake Fish bundle.

Ocean Fish Bundle

These fish can be caught at the Beach or the Beach Farm.

• Sardine – Caught in the Ocean in Spring, Fall, and Winter from 6 am – 7 pm in any weather.
• Red Snapper – Caught in the Ocean in Summer and Fall from 6 am – 7 pm. Only active in the rain.
• Tuna – Caught in the Ocean in Summer and Winter in any weather from 6 am – 7 pm.
• Tilapia – Caught in the Ocean in Summer and Fall in any weather from 6 am – 2 pm.

You will get 5x Beach Warp Totems for completing the Ocean Fish Bundle.

River Fish Bundle

These fish can all be caught in the Pelican Town River, the Cindersap Forest River, or any River you might have running through your Farm.

• Sunfish – Caught in Rivers in Spring and Summer from 6 am – 7 pm. Only active in sunny weather.
• Catfish – Caught in Rivers in Spring and Fall from 6 am – 12 am. Only active when it’s raining. You can also catch Catfish in Summer time when it’s raining at the Secret Woods Pond and the Witch’s Swamp.
• Shad – Caught in Rivers in Spring, Summer, and Fall from 9 am – 2 pm. Only active when it’s raining.
• Tiger Trout – Caught in Rivers in Fall and Winter in any weather from 6 am – 7 pm.

You will get 30x Deluxe bait for completing the River Fish bundle.

Crab Pot Bundle

These fish and crustaceans can all be caught in Crab Pots. You only need five of the following ten fish to complete the bundle.

• Lobster – Caught in Crab Pots in the ocean.
• Crayfish – Caught in Crab Pots in freshwater.
• Crab – Caught in Crab Pots in the ocean, Rock Crab and Lava Crab monster loot.
• Cockle – Caught in Crab Pots in the ocean or foraged on the Beach.
• Mussel – Caught in Crab Pots in the ocean or foraged on the Beach.
• Shrimp – Caught in Crab Pots in the ocean.
• Snail – Caught in Crab Pots in freshwater.
• Periwinkle – Caught in Crab Pots in freshwater.
• Oyster – Caught in Crab Pots in the ocean or foraged on the Beach.
• Clam – Caught in Crab Pots in the ocean or foraged on the Beach.

You will get 3x Crab Pots for completing the Crab Pot bundle.

Night Fishing Bundle

The following fish are only active at night:

• Walleye – Caught in Rivers, the Mountain Lake, and the Cindersap Forest Pond in Fall and Winter from 12 pm – 2 am. Only active when it’s raining.
• Bream – Caught in Rivers in any season and any weather from 6 pm – 2 am.
• Eel – Caught in the ocean in Spring and Fall from 4 pm – 2 am. Only active when it’s raining.

You will get a Glow Ring for completing the Night Fishing bundle.

Specialty Fish Bundle

The fish needed for the Specialty Fish bundle can only be found in certain areas like the Mines or the Desert.

• Pufferfish – Caught in the ocean in Summer from 12 pm – 4 pm. Only active when it’s sunny.
• Ghostfish – Caught in the Mines on levels 20 and 60 in any season, any weather, and any time. Ghost monster loot.
• Sandfish – Caught in the Desert Pond from 6 am – 8 pm in any season and any weather.
• Woodskip – Caught in the Secret Woods Pond and the Forest Farm in any weather, any season, at any time.

You will get 5x Dish O’ the Sea for completing the Specialty Fish bundle.

The Missing Bundle

Completing all of the above bundles is enough to refurbish and complete the Community Center mission and unlock one extra bundle elsewhere in town. By choosing to complete the Community Center instead of signing your soul away to Joja Mart, you end up running Joja Mart out of town.

The next rainy day will trigger a new cutscene where a stroke of lightning breaks open the door to the abandoned Joja Mart building, where you can find the last bundle.

Completing this bundle turns the abandoned building into a shiny new Movie Theatre.

You only need five of the six items to complete the Missing Bundle.

• Dinosaur Mayonnaise – Dinosaur Egg in a Mayonnaise Machine.
• Prismatic Shard – Mining or Geodes.
• Caviar – Sturgeon Roe in Preserves Jar.
• Gold or higher quality Void Salmon – Caught in the Witch’s Swamp in any time, any season, and any weather.
• 5x Gold or higher quality Ancient Fruit – Ancient Seed
• Silver or higher quality Wine – Wine aged in Cask.
