Tekken 8 Reina Combo

In Tekken 8, Reiner has some powerful combos that players can use for effective offense. Here are some examples:

  1. Wall mounting combination:

    • Starting from crouch: press/forward + right kick (d/f, 4), then back + right kick (b, 4), then forward, forward + left kick (f, F, 3+4) , then proceed to Down/Forward + Left Fist (d/f, 1), Front + Right Fist, Left Fist, Right Fist (f, 2, 3, F), and during Team Pose, press Left Fist, Right Fist ( 1, 2).
    • NOTE: This combination is a bit challenging but provides a dramatic wall hanging effect. Pay attention to the “3+4” input and “F” before entering Team Pose for best results.
  2. Advanced Juggling Combinations:

    • Perform the Wind God Step (d/f, 3): press right fist (2), up/forward + left fist (u/f, 1), during heat and wrath, press right fist, forward (2, F ), then continue down/forward + right punch, right kick, left punch (d/f, 4, 2, 3), down/forward + right punch (d/f, 3), and during Fengshen Step, press left Fist, right fist (1, 4).
    • NOTE: This combination is more complex, but offers great rewards if executed successfully. It combines the Wind Steps with the Heat Element to produce powerful acrobatics.
  3. Anti-punishment combination:

    • Start with down/forward + right punch (d/f, 2), then down + right punch, right kick, left punch (d, 2, 3, F), during the battle, press right punch (2), then repeat The right fist punches four times (2,2,2,2).
    • This combo is relatively easier to execute and works as a clean counter. It gives the opponent decent air time, especially if they make a mistake on a high hit.

These combos showcase Reyna’s versatility and can be used strategically depending on the player’s skill level and match situation.

Tekken 8 gameplay

As detailed by director Katsuhiro Harada, Tekken 8’s gameplay promises an exciting shift in an aggressive direction, favoring a proactive play style over defensive tactics. The introduction of the “Heat” system adds a layer of complexity that can cause chip damage, additional movement settings and altered movement properties, including serious ward damage.

Notably, the fighter can dash to cancel the designated move into heat, providing strategic depth. The heat state’s timer dynamics are tied to the fighter’s active actions, helping to create a dynamic and fast-paced combat experience.

Building on the legacy of the series, Tekken 8 implements an improved rage system, replacing the rage drive with a standalone “heat crush.” The planned “Screw” attribute was canceled and replaced by the “Tornado” juggling combo expansion system, bringing new impetus to aerial combat.

In addition to game mechanics, Tekken 8 aims to provide a more cinematic experience through enhanced environmental interactivity and character reactions. The game uses Unreal Engine 5 and has new character models and voices.

Online mode introduces the “Arcade Quest” battle lobby, offering diverse environments, regular online battles and tournaments, and avatar customization using the in-game currency “Fight Money.” Overall, Tekken 8 promises to be a thrilling, innovative, and visually stunning evolution of the beloved fighting game series.
