Tekken 8 gameplay

As director Katsuhiro Harada shared, Tekken 8 promises an exciting gameplay experience that focuses on offense and rewards proactive players over defensive ones. The introduction of the “heat” system adds a new layer to combat, providing chip damage, additional movesets, and altered attributes for certain characters. This system comes with a timer and can be used strategically during combat. It is worth noting that “Tekken 8” returns to the rage system, but with some changes, such as separating the rage drive into “Heat Crush”, which is a super move under the “Heat” system.

Tekken 8 takes the theme of the movie and introduces stage destruction and realistic character reactions. It’s powered by Unreal Engine 5 and features new character models and voices. The online mode includes the “Arcade Quest” battle lobby, covering a variety of combat environments and allowing avatars to be customized using the “Fight Money” currency.
