Unlike simply pulling the safety pin and throwing the grenade immediately, marinating a grenade requires a little more skill. To do this, you need to pull the safety pin and wait a moment before actually throwing the explosive. It’s like letting the grenade “marinate” for a second. However, be sure to pay attention to the timing, as you only have three seconds before the grenade explodes.

Waiting too long to throw can have unintended consequences. Therefore, the key is to find the right balance between letting it cook through and making sure you throw it within three seconds. Experimenting with this technique during gameplay can increase your grenade throwing efficiency, catch your opponents off guard, and improve your overall gaming experience.

Modern Warfare 3: Strategies for killing enemies with grenades

To kill enemies with grenades in Modern Warfare 3 (MW3), you can use some smart strategies. First, try playing game modes like Domination or Hardpoint, where players often team up. This makes it easier to throw grenades into crowded areas, increasing your chances of killing enemies.

However, be careful of players who aren’t focusing on their targets, as they may be spread out further. Another strategy is to use a demolition vest, which allows you to carry more grenades. In fast-paced game modes, as mentioned earlier, it’s not just about throwing very accurately; it’s more about throwing a bunch of grenades quickly.

Therefore, equip the demolition vest so that you can get more grenades and throw them in areas where there are many enemies. By doing this, you can increase your chances of killing enemies with cooked grenades in MW3. In this case, quantity is more important than quality, so keep throwing those grenades to increase your kill count.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is a first-person shooter developed by Sledgehammer Games and Activision, which was fully released on November 10, 2023. It is the twentieth installment in the Call of Duty series and the third chapter in the revamped Modern Warfare series.

Continuing from the story of 2022’s Modern Warfare II, the game’s storyline revolves around the multinational special operations force Task Force 141 as they hunt down Vladimir Makarov, a Russian ultranationalist and terrorist who plans to start World War III.

Available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S, the game retains the realistic modern setting of its predecessor. In addition to an engrossing single-player campaign, Modern Warfare III introduces a multiplayer mode featuring maps remastered from 2009’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, and a Zombies mode, a first for the Modern Warfare series.

Sledgehammer Games originally planned to develop an expansion pack for Modern Warfare II, but as the project progressed, Activision decided to turn it into a standalone title in the Call of Duty series. Sledgehammer Games carefully designed the game’s mechanics and graphics using version 9.0 of the IW engine.

It is worth noting that Treyarch, known for the Call of Duty: Black Ops series, was involved in the development of the Zombies mode. After leaks in early to mid-2023, the game was officially unveiled in August 2023, with a showcase event and public beta in October. Although some platforms classify it as a DLC expansion for Modern Warfare II, it does not have a platinum trophy on PlayStation 5.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 gameplay

Modern Warfare III plays very similarly to its predecessor and other Call of Duty games. It brings back features like swipe cancel. The campaign offers linear missions and “Open Combat Missions” that give players more freedom when tackling objectives. In multiplayer, all 16 maps from Modern Warfare 2 will be available at launch.

Players can vote in the lobby to select maps that give players more health and longer kill times. The “Red Dot” minimap returns, where players can shoot without a silencer and spot enemies on the radar. The classic modes “Kill Confirmed” and “Hardpoint” return, along with a new mode called “Severed Throat.” Ground War and War Mode are also returning.

The game will also feature a new open-world PvE Zombies mode. Developed by Treyarch and Sledgehammer Games, the mode is different from the old turn-based survival games. Up to 24 players will team up on a large map called Urzikstan. They will fight against zombies and AI-controlled enemies, complete objectives, collect loot and extract items.

Maps are no longer divided into rounds, but into “zones” with varying difficulty levels. After 45 minutes, “Aetherstorm” begins, and players have 15 minutes to leave with the loot. This can be carried over to the next match. It includes familiar elements such as weapon purchases, special drinks, and mystery boxes. Story missions will also be part of the mode, driving the narrative.
