What did Getou do at the end of “Shibuya Chapter”?
In the finale of the Shibuya Chapter of Jujutsu Kaisen, Katsura Getou (aka Kenwaka) intervenes in the intense battle between Yuji Itadori and the powerful Curse Spirit Master. When Itadori gains the upper hand in the battle, Geto appears and uses various cursed spirits to easily defeat Itadori. Turning his attention to Masato, Shitou skillfully dodges his attacks and absorbs him with his Curse Manipulation Technique.

Shimoto Katsu is a fictional character in the manga “Jujutsu Kaisen 0”. Once a friend of Gojo Satoru, he is now a powerful magician who is searching for the Queen of Spells, Orimoto Rika, who in turn is searching for Yuta Tamagotsu in the prequels. Shito appears in the main Jujutsu Kaisen series, revealing through flashbacks his past friendship and eventual conflict with Gojo.
In the main series, his body is controlled by the ancient wizard Kenjaku, whose goal is to evolve humanity through cursed energy and usher in a new golden age of jujutsu magic. The character is inspired by Sensui Ninja from Yu Yu Hakusho and explores prejudice. Kenjabi’s influence comes from Naruto’s Orochimaru, both of whom are immortal magicians who use vessels.
Critics praised Getou’s role in Jujutsu Showdown 0, calling him a compelling villain with a deep relationship with Gojo. The revelation that Kenjabi is controlling Geto prompted mixed reactions due to its impact on the narrative.
Shibuya Arc
The Shibuya Incident Arc is the sixth story arc in Hatami Brother’s Jujutsu Kaisen. The story takes place on October 31, 2018, centered on the Shibuya incident, and a contract between the cursed spirit and the cursed messenger, headed by real people and pseudo-outsiders. Their goal is to capture and seal the powerful magician Gojo Satoru.

This arc shows the intense events that unfold as the Alliance executes their plan, creating a pivotal moment in the Jujutsu Kaisen series. Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2
“Jujutsu Kaisen” is an anime adapted from the Hatami Brother manga. It was announced that it would be adapted into a series in November 2019. The second season was released on February 12, 2022, with Shota Goshozono taking over as series director. The season will air from July 6 to December 28, 2023, covering the “Hidden Stock/Premature Death” and “Shibuya Incident” storylines from the manga.
“Hidden Inventory” serves as a prequel and explores Gojo Satoru and Geto Masaru’s past at Jujutsu High School, revealing how they became rivals. “Shibuya Incident” is set in modern times and depicts the fierce battle between magicians and cursers that took place in Shibuya during Halloween.
The first five episodes have “Where Our Blue Is” by Tatsuya Kitani as the opening theme and “Light” by Souji Sakiyama as the ending theme. Starting with episode six, King Gnu opens the show by performing “Specialz” and Hitsujibungaku closes by performing “More Than Words.” Crunchyroll holds the streaming license outside of Asia, with the English dub available starting July 20, 2023.
