Pokémon Brilliant Diamond

“Pokémon Brilliant Diamond” and “Pokémon Shining Pearl” are remakes of the 2006 Nintendo DS classic role-playing game “Pokémon Diamond and Pearl.” The games were released in 2021 as part of the eighth-generation Pokémon video game series and were developed by ILCA. They are published by Nintendo and The Pokémon Company exclusively for the Nintendo Switch platform.

Both games have a release date of November 19, 2021. The remasters were announced as part of Pokémon’s 25th anniversary event, alongside another upcoming game, Pokémon Legends: Arceus.

Critics received mixed reviews for Diamonds and Pearls. While some praised certain aspects of the gameplay, there were differing opinions on the changes to the original game, the visual design of the remake, and the absence of certain features in Pokémon Platinum, such as the Sinnoh Battle Frontier.

Where to find unknown items in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond?

The Ruins of Solace is a location in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl where players can encounter a unique Pokémon – an unknown species. It’s also home to some rare items that can be found in its deepest rooms.

Additionally, there is a young boy near the entrance to the ruins who will reward the player with a special orb if they return to his home after talking to him.

The layout of Thorasen Ruins consists of multiple floors, each floor has a central corridor, represented as Corridor B1F, Corridor B2F, etc. Adjacent to these corridors are smaller rooms and stairs leading to the next level.

While exploring the small room, players may discover a hidden object hidden in the central rock. However, some rooms may be empty. It is in these side rooms that players are most likely to encounter various forms of unknown creatures.

Unown is known for appearing in different forms, representing each letter of the alphabet from A to Z, as well as special symbols such as “?” and “!”.

Unknown Pokemon Brilliant Diamond Locations

In the small side rooms of the Solace Ruins in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, some rooms have hidden items hidden in the central rock, while other rooms may be empty. These side rooms are also where players are most likely to encounter different forms of unknown Pokémon. Unown can appear in up to 27 forms, representing each letter of the alphabet from A to Z, as well as special symbols such as “?” and “!”.

In the corridors of the ruins, unknown creatures of a specific form will appear in each corridor. The order of these forms is F, R, I, E, N, and D, with the “D” form appearing in the deepest rooms that are not corridors.

To fully explore the Thorasan Ruins, players should travel through each corridor and capture the unique unknown forms found along each corridor. By reaching the deepest chamber, players can grab Unown’s “D” form and discover four rare items. They will also encounter heartwarming messages about friendship on the walls.

The back wall at the entrance level provides useful directions for navigation within the room. By following the instructions of “upper right, lower left, upper right, upper left, upper left, lower left,” players can explore each room, defeat the trainers present, and collect all available items in one run. To exit, players can conveniently use escape ropes found along the way, or retrace their steps using the reverse order of the given instructions.

As for the “?” and “!” for the various forms of the Unknown, players can unlock them in special rooms inside the Ruined Maniac’s Cave on Route 214. This cave will expand as players gradually capture more forms of the Unknown. Once players capture all of the different forms from start to finish, they can speak to the Ruin Maniac to enter the expanding tunnels, eventually encountering the “?” and “!” of unknown form.

How to catch unknown objects in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl?

In “Brilliant Diamond” and “Shining Pearl”, players can easily capture six specific forms of unknown creatures, which represent the letters F, R, I, E, N and D respectively. These forms are located in the great chamber of Thoratheon’s ruins. However, the remaining 18 unknown letters can only be found in the dead ends of the ruins.

Players need to explore every dead end until they meet an unknown person. To increase your chances of catching each unknown ball, it is recommended to use duplicate balls.

After capturing all 26 unknown characters in the ruins of Thorakon, players should head to Route 214, located south of Veil City. There is the Ruined Madman’s Cave on the west side of the route. The Madman is digging into the rock, but it won’t be completed until the player captures all 26 basic unknown forms.

Once this condition is met, a hidden chamber in the ruins of Thorasun will be revealed. In this room, players can encounter the last two forms of Unown: the Exclamation Mark and the Question Mark.
