The back wall at the entrance level provides useful directions for navigation within the room. By following the instructions of “upper right, lower left, upper right, upper left, upper left, lower left,” players can explore each room, defeat the trainers present, and collect all available items in one run. To exit, players can conveniently use escape ropes found along the way, or retrace their steps using the reverse order of the given instructions.

As for the “?” and “!” for the various forms of the Unknown, players can unlock them in special rooms inside the Ruined Maniac’s Cave on Route 214. How to catch unknown objects in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl?

In “Brilliant Diamond” and “Shining Pearl”, players can easily capture six specific forms of unknown creatures, which represent the letters F, R, I, E, N and D respectively. These forms are located in the great chamber of Thoratheon’s ruins. However, the remaining 18 unknown letters can only be found in the dead ends of the ruins.

Players need to explore every dead end until they meet an unknown person. To increase your chances of catching each unknown ball, it is recommended to use duplicate balls.

After capturing all 26 unknown characters in the ruins of Thorakon, players should head to Route 214, located south of Veil City. There is the Ruined Madman’s Cave on the west side of the route. The Madman is digging into the rock, but it won’t be completed until the player captures all 26 basic unknown forms.

Once this condition is met, a hidden chamber in the ruins of Thorasun will be revealed. In this room, players can encounter the last two forms of Unown: the Exclamation Mark and the Question Mark.
