Early career and IPL journey
Born in Madhya Pradesh of Madhya Pradesh, Patidar played his first IPL game in 2021, but starting with modesty, there are only four games in the year. Later in the 2022 season, he rejoined the RCB to replace Luvnith Sisodia and was impressive against Lucknow Super Giants in the Elimination Innings with an impressive unbeaten score. During his IPL career, he has played in 28 games and scored 799 runs with a batting rate of 158.85.

Domestic success
Before joining the captain of RCB, Patidar was the captain of Madhya Pradesh, and participated in several domestic competitions.
