Does stacking multiple boosts work in The First Descendant?
The First Descendant offers four types of boosts:
- Weapon proficiency experience gain +30%
- Increase offspring experience by +30%
- Kuiper Fragment Gain +30%
- Gold income +30%

Once activated, these boosts are independent of each other. You can have a 1-day Descendant XP gain boost active while also having a 3-day Gold gain boost active. These boosts stack, and you can have all four types of boosts active at the same time.
Now, since each boost has a 30% buff, do boosts stack multiplicatively? The answer is no. If you use two of the same type of boost, the duration only increases. You can stack the duration of these boosts, but you cannot stack their multiplicative bonuses. You can buy a 30-day Descendant EXP boost, claim another 3-day boost from a comp bonus, and get another 1-day boost from the Battle Pass, but they only increase the duration.
Where can you get more boosts in First Descendants?
There are two main ways to earn boosts in The First Descendant. Both require you to spend the game’s premium currency, Caliber. You can earn boosts through the Battle Pass or buy them directly from the in-game store.
Both methods give you various types of boosts, but in the in-game store, you can get up to 30 days of boosts with one purchase. If you plan to continue playing over the next few days or weeks, you can stack these boosts.
First Descendant sometimes offers buffs as compensation, or through events. If Nexon offers free buffs, you can find them in your mailbox. You can access your mailbox from anywhere, just open the character screen and find the inbox button in the bottom left of the screen.
If there are boosts here, you can claim them, but once claimed they will automatically activate. If you already have a boost of the same type activated, it will extend the duration of that specific boost.
