While the collection introduces quality-of-life improvements like the option to switch between classic and modern control schemes, the overall experience feels more like a re-release than a true remake. Despite the reasonable price, the graphical updates, while useful, fail to bring the game up to modern standards, leaving it feeling a bit dated.
Otherwise, the gameplay remains largely the same, but there are some issues, such as visual glitches that reduce immersion, and while new features like photo mode and numerous achievements add value, they don’t significantly improve the gaming experience.
Tomb Raider: Remastered offers a playable way to revisit a classic game, but it may disappoint those expecting a more massive modernization. Players seeking a truly updated Tomb Raider experience may find more satisfaction in other games, such as Square Enix’s reboot trilogy.

The Tomb Raider I–III Remastered series reimagines the classic adventures of Lara Croft with a modern twist. Developed and published by Aspyr, the series includes the first three iconic Tomb Raider games: Tomb Raider (1996), Tomb Raider II (1997), and Tomb Raider III (1998). Players will guide Lara through ancient ruins and dangerous tombs, solving puzzles and discovering ancient artifacts along the way.
