Where to find the Shroud Weaver
The Shroud Loom is hidden on a hard-to-reach ledge on the edge of a cliff at the far end of the Kindlewastes Desert. The first step to obtaining this epic weapon is to reach the top of the Kindlewastes Ancient Spire. You can reach this Ancient Spire by heading southeast from the Nomad Highlands.

Kindlewastes is the most difficult biome you’ll explore in Enshrouded, filled with extremely strong enemies. Getting there is a quest in itself, but there’s plenty of amazing loot to find, including, of course, the Shroud Weaver.

It’s worth noting that the Kindlewastes is the highest level area. Enemies there can be up to level 25, so if you don’t want to fear for your life every time you encounter an enemy, you’ll need to be at a similar level yourself. Your Fire Altar must also be level 6 in order to safely retrieve the Shroud Weaver.
While it was previously possible to reach the Shroudweaver without upgrading the Flame Altar to level 6, this has changed. The Shroudweaver is still in the same location, but the level of the Shroud has been increased so that the treasure chest is completely shrouded in dangerous gas.

The top of the Ancient Spire in the Burnt Wastes is a great jumping-off point to get to the Shroud Weavers. From the top of the tower, use the paraglider to fly to the southwest corner of the map.

Once you’ve landed, continue heading southeast until you reach the Temple of the Sun. The Temple of the Sun itself hides a lot of valuable treasures, but for now, continue heading east until you reach a patch of mycelium. Turn north after you hit the spores and walk to the edge of the cliff.

Look down from the edge of the cliff to find two platforms below. Jump onto the nearest ledge, then onto the one below, and turn right to find a Legendary Chest sitting on a small wooden ledge. Walk up to the chest, preferably without falling into the Shroud below, and open it to collect your shiny new Shroudweaver Staff. Charge up all your favorite staffs, then take it for a spin at the nearby Temple of the Sun!
