World of Warcraft: Civil War release date, 2024 roadmap, and what to expect
On June 10, 2024, Blizzard Entertainment announced the release date and roadmap for its next expansion pack, much earlier than most people expected. This news came after the beta test of the expansion pack was launched a few days ago.

World of Warcraft: Civil War will be officially released worldwide on August 26, 2024, and the early access of the expansion will start four days in advance on August 22, 2024. Players who own the Epic Edition of World of Warcraft: Civil War will be able to experience the game first. However, the price of this game is as high as $89.99, so be prepared to pay for it.
World of Warcraft: Civil War Season 1
Season 1 of the expansion will begin approximately two weeks after release. Season 1 will introduce a brand new raid centered around the Nerubian faction in the heart of Azkahet. While details of this new zone and event and the raid dynamics have yet to be announced, players can expect a whole new challenge filled with mystery and danger.
Azj-Kajet is an underground region located deep within Khaz Algar. Azj-Kajet is known as the capital of the Nerubian race, and the last home of all its inhabitants. In the expansion, the main villain Xal’atath travels to Azj-Kajet and strikes a deal with its ruler, Queen Ansurek, to increase its power against the heroes of Azeroth. In return, Xal’atath promises Queen Ansurek a better future for the Nerubian race, restoring the honor and glory of the ancient arachnids that were once forgotten.

This is where the whole story begins. It looks like Queen Ansurek and her army will play a big role in the development of Season 1, and players will begin to see Xal’atath’s evil plans begin to take shape. The Azj-Kajet region will likely also become one of the popular locations for players in the later stages of the game.
