Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is a return to form for the Prince of Persia series and a fantastic Metroidvania game from Ubisoft Montpellier. The game was released on nearly all current and last generation platforms as well as PC. Due to Ubisoft’s exclusivity agreement with the Epic Games Store, the game was not released on Steam at the time of its release. Thankfully, Steam users won’t have to wait too long as Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown will be available on the storefront very soon.

You can add the game to your wishlist on Steam right now via the link below. The Steam version comes with achievements, full controller support, and runs great on the Steam Deck. As with other Ubisoft versions, you’ll need a Ubisoft Connect account to play it on Steam.
The Steam version also comes with free DLC content, including Warrior’s Path, Boss Attack, and Divine Trials. Currently only available for wishlisting, players should be able to purchase the Standard and Deluxe Editions at launch. Most versions released by Ubisoft on Steam are discounted, so this is definitely worth keeping an eye out for.

Ubisoft still has an exclusivity agreement with the Epic Games Store that prohibits first releases on Steam. However, the exclusivity period seems to be shortening, as Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown and Avatar: Pandora’s Frontier have both released on Steam seven months after their initial release.
